Week #18 4/29/12-5/6/12

The capital of Hawaii is Honolulu.

Honlulu is the capital and largest city in Hawaii.  It is also the southernmost U.S. Capital.

Physical: 20  Jumping Jacks

Persoanl: I have to walk the entire North End at Freeman Park in Carolina Beach.

Result:  I got sick this week, so this turned out to be a true challenge.  I waited until Saturday, but I did it.  The North End is roughly 1.25 miles long, so it was a 2 and 1/2 mile trek. I was still a bit tight in the chest, but I made it.  I included pics of the start and finish points.

Week #17 4/22/12-4/29/12

The capital of Massachusetts is Boston.

Boston is the largest city and capital of Massachusetts.  It is one of the oldest cities in America and is regarded as the unofficial capital of New England.

Physical: 10 pop ups

Personal: Call my sisters everyday.

Result: I called Wendy on Monday and Thursday.  Elaine on Tuesday and Friday.  Sarah on Wednesday and Saturday.  I spoke to all of them.  They are the coolest sisters ever.  Yes it kinda sucked to not have a brother, but they have more than made up for it :)

Week #16 4/15/12-4/22/12

The capital of North Dakota is Bismarck.

Bismarck is the second largest city in ND, next to Fargo (great movie). It is located on the banks of the Missouri River.

Physical: 25 Shoulder Presses

Personal: I have to write a song. Wrote a song called "2012" Basically about the end of time. The link at the bottom takes you to the you tube site. The lyrics are:

Week #15 4/8/12-4/15/12

The capital of Idaho is Boise.

Boise is the capital as well as the largest city in Idaho. It was originally Ft. Boise and was a stop along the Oregon Trail.

Physical: 25 sit ups

Personal: I have to call 3 friends from college.

Result: I called Michael Hopkins on Monday. We caught up on what's going on. I called Ian Crawford on Tuesday who informed me he was ironically thinking about me 10 minutes before I called. I promised him I would do my damndest to get up to NJ this summer. I got Ryan Heath's number via Facebook email, but he had transposed the last two numbers, so I got some guy named Bob. He (Ryan) promised to call me tomorrow.

Week #14 4/1/12-4/8/12

The capital of Georgia is Atlanta.

The ATL actually started as a railroad town connected to the midwest. Atlanta was burned during the Civil War. It is one of the largest cities in the south.

Physical: 25 Shoulder Press

Personal: I have to go to a comedy club.

Result: I went to the Nutt St. Comedy Club here in Wilmington on Wednesday night. I caght the club's comedy improv troupe. The style of the show was similar to "Who's Line is it Anyway." I had a great time...it's always good to laugh :)
